This is a unique experience, a special tour designed by Dave for a couple of German groups that wanted to get off the regular tourist route and move at a more leisurely pace. 

 

8 days wandering through the magnificent Flinders Ranges region & outback South Australia visiting sheep & cattle station properties. 

 

Meet the people that live and work in the outback. Drive around station properties checking on sheep and cattle, fences, windmills, dams and other watering points.

 

See how sheep & cattle stations operate, participate in the day to day operation of the station.  Sheep and cattle mustering is seasonal, there is always something happening, shearing, crutching, drenching, station life is a busy one.

 

Some evening meals are cooked on a camp fire, at night you can relax around a camp fire and sleep under the stars in a comfortable swag or tent.

 

Because of his close connections with the people in the outback Dave has special permission to visit places tourists cannot go.  He specializes in designer tours that people cannot find anywhere else in Australia.
